Our Guarantee

After 15 years in business, I appreciate the support of our many loyal customers and welcome the opportunity to introduce new gardeners to the wealth of rare and unusual plant material we grow. Although you probably won’t need it, here is our guarantee:

Japanese maples and evegreens guarantees that plants leave the nursery healthy and true to name. Please contact us within five (5) days regarding any claims for shortage or errors, or if you are dissatisfied with your order, and we will remedy the situation. We know that trees sold during winter dormancy will leaf out, and we stand by our stock. After that time we can give no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the success of plants sold.

When you notify us (per above), we will send a replacement/ full credit. To better understand the situation, we may ask that you send us an image of the plant. In some instances we may ask that you return the plant to us.

Damage in transit: We take special care to package your order so that it travels snugly and safely. If a tree arrives broken below the graft, we will replace it with either the same or a similar one. If some branches are broken we will not replace…branches will grow back quickly.  Fortunately this happens very rarely. The customer is responsible for postage costs for the replacement tree.

Our business practices: We make every effort to estimate hardiness and to advise you of proper planting practices. You will find basic cultural information on the plant care page.  As stated above, we believe our trees are top quality. After plants leave us, we have no control over how/where/ when you plant them or how the forces of weather interceed in this.

As time permits, we try to discuss your individual garden situation, etc. In return we ask that you be sensitive to timing and weather.

We always listen to customers and consider their concerns when they let us know. We urge you to e-mail at the onset. Japanesemaplesandevergreens1@yahoo.com Many situations have been corrected after dialogue with us.

In closing, I sincerely hope that our plants thrive and you, our customers, are happy.
