A beautiful, dwarf form of the Serbian Spruce!
Picea omorika 'Nana' is an excellent garden plant, hence the recognition by the RHS. Relatively slow growing producing a broad pyramidal bush, it is very useful as it can be planted in exposed positions. It can reach a height of (3/6ft) in about ten years. Local conditions will play their part in the speed of growth and eventual size. The new growth is very attractive when it first emerges in spring. As it is very tolerant of most soils and can be planted virtually in any position, Dwarf Serbian Spruce is a conifer well worth having in your garden. Excellent choice for bonsai.
Goes well with Pinus parviflora 'Glauca', Vanderwolf's Pyramid Pine, Thunderhead Pine as well as Black Bamboo. Check out our store for these great plants!
